Dodge Charger and Challenger Given Extra Style for 2022
Dodge has just announced some new appearance packages for the Charger and Challenger. Orange and black are the themes, but don’t count on them for this Halloween because ordering through dealerships will start later in the fall.
First, the HEMI Orange appearance package, available on GT RWD and Scat Pack Widebody models, is a nod to the distinctive orange look of early-era HEMI engines.
Outside, a new orange accent tracer complements Gunmetal striping over the length of the car, while orange outlines the Midnight Grey Metallic grille and fender badging. Orange-painted Brembo callipers contrast with the 20-inch wheels in a black finish.

In the cabin, you’ll find orange stitching on the instrument panel, door uppers and armrests, console lid, shifter boot, leather-wrapped steering wheel and of course the seats. This is in addition to blacked-out interior modifications including the steering wheel bezels, shifter body and cluster trim, cup holder and vent rings.
Dodge says a HEMI Orange option will also be offered for the 2022 Durango R/T and R/T Tow N Go models, with details and availability to come in the first quarter of 2022.
Meanwhile, the SRT Black package, which is available for SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye models, offers the option of blacked-out exterior touches.
SRT Hellcat badging, including on the grille, fenders and spoiler for the Challenger and on the grille, fenders and decklid for the Charger, is modified with a Midnight Grey Metallic appearance. The package is completed with Black Nickel exhaust tips on the Charger SRT (those were already standard on the Challenger SRT).
