2022 Toyota Tundra Pricing Announced for Canada

After more than a decade without any major changes, the Toyota Tundra is completely redesigned and improved for 2022.

As a reminder, the old 5.7-litre V8 engine has been replaced by a brand new, twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 which can optionally be paired with an electric motor. And just like every other vehicle in the lineup, the Tundra gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 as standard.

Pricing for the 2022 Toyota Tundra was announced today ahead of the pickup’s arrival in dealerships next month.

Under $45,000

The base SR 4x2 model starts at $44,990. It comes with a Double Cab and either a 6.5- or 8.1-foot cargo bed, the latter requiring an extra $500. Standard equipment includes a Towing Package, eight-inch multimedia display, LED headlights and taillights plus keyless start.

You need to spend at least $48,290 to benefit from a 4x4 system, with the same content as previously mentioned. Available bed sizes are 5.5 feet and 6.5 feet if you select the CrewMax cabin.

Moving up to the Tundra SR5 4x4 gives you more desirable features such as 18-inch wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, three drive modes, hill start assist, dual-zone automatic climate control and a larger fuel tank. Prices range from $51,990-$54,350 depending on your cab and bed selection.

On- and Off-Road Capability

The new Toyota Tundra is also available in several TRD models, starting with the TRD Sport which adds 20-inch wheels, a unique grille and sport-tuned suspension. It will cost you $54,090.

If you like to venture away from the beaten paths, the TRD Off-Road model is a no-brainer. At $54,290, this one stands out with 18-inch wheels on all-terrain tires, off-road shocks, a locking rear differential and specific grille treatment.

Finally, the top-line Platinum and 1794 Edition are both priced north of $70,000. These two are loaded with features and amenities including a full leather interior, heated/ventilated seats, head-up display, active ambient noise control, 360-degree surround view, 12-speaker audio system, rain-sensing wipers and backup towing assist. They also come with a choice of 5.5- and 6.5-foot cargo beds.

The 1794 Edition boasts a rich Chestnut leather interior complete with chrome and real wood inserts. It will relieve you of $74,190.

Pricing for the 2022 Toyota Tundra i-FORCE MAX Hybrid, which goes on sale in the spring, ranges from $66,390-$84,150.
