Classy Condensed: 2010 CTS-V Coupe

Published on January 9, 2010 in Detroit by Dan Fritter

Bob Lutz. Love him or hate him, he’s quite the character. He’s also one of the biggest motorheads in the industry, which has lead to some pretty fun toys.

The CTS-V is just such a toy. A completely unnecessary automobile that just happens to be one of Lutz’s favourites, it’s the product of the same mentality that gave us the fantastically ridiculous ZR1. And now we get another version of it. Although we’d been initially told that the V treatment would be limited to the sedan, GM has shown official photos of the CTS-V coupe. Slightly lighter and wider than the sedan, it should be slightly quicker, but for the majority of buyers, it will be the coupe’s sleek lines that bring them into the dealership.

Look for more information and photos following the car’s release in Detroit.
