The 2023 Chevrolet Colorado was just unveiled last week, and this week it’s time for its GMC counterpart, the new Canyon, to see the light of day. And The Car Guide will be on site to gather all the details and exclusive content about this revamped midsize pickup.

The redesign comes at a proper time, with rival midsize pickups like the Nissan Frontier and Ford Ranger recently revamped, and the Toyota Tacoma also waiting its turn.

For off-road enthusiasts, GMC has a Canyon AT4X version in store. This designation was recently introduced on the Sierra 1500 AT4X as GMC's most extreme variant yet. It adopts similar technical features and capabilities as the ZR2 badge at Chevrolet.

The AT4X will also have an Edition 1 sub-variant, whose name implies that it will have a limited production run and will come with its own aesthetic and technical characteristics. In a last public release before the unveiling, the automaker has released a teaser image of the passenger-side front end of this specific sub-variant. More details will be made public on Thursday, August 11 at 11:00 AM Eastern time, and The Car Guide will be there!
