Redesigned 2023 Honda Accord Teased Ahead of Debut
On the same day Honda celebrates the official start of production of the 2023 CR-V Hybrid at its Alliston plant in Ontario (the first time that model is built in Canada), we get a few shots of the new 2023 Accord that will debut in November.
For the 11th generation of the once highly popular midsize sedan, styling looks much sleeker especially up front. The lines are sharper and more angular, too, with a hex-shaped grille that is not unlike the one on the aforementioned CR-V or the upcoming 2023 Pilot (also set to debut very soon).

We can say the same thing about the rear-end treatment. The linear taillights are quite nice, including the way they connect together. The new Accord positively stands out not only from its predecessor but also from the current Civic.
That being said, the picture that shows some of the interior hints at a layout similar to the Civic’s (and CR-V’s). Consider the new touchscreen at the top of the dashboard (up to 12.3 inches in size, a Honda first), the horizontal mesh insert below concealing the air vents and the redesigned instrument cluster in front of the driver. The new infotainment system with Google built-in, another first for Honda, should be very much appreciated.
There are no technical details available at this point, but the press release does mention “a more responsive and fun-to-drive hybrid powertrain.” The turbocharged 1.5- and 2.0-litre engines will likely be back, too.
We’ll have all the information and pictures of the 2023 Honda Accord when it makes its debut next month, so stay tuned. By the way, the Accord’s biggest rival, the Toyota Camry, is expected to be completely redesigned for the 2024 model year.
