Toronto 2010 : Make room for the Stillen Nissan GT-R

As one of the main attractions at the Toronto International AutoShow for this 2010 edition, here comes the diabolical Stillen Nissan GT-R, designed expressly for extreme rally racing.

Among the Canadian rally events are the Targa Newfoundland and the Targa Canada West, which will be held this year in British Columbia, in May.

The Stillen approach

The Stillen corporation is known as a manufacturer of high performance parts and accessories that allow a model off the line to become a highly performing speed machine which can be used for racing and even for participating in high profile rally racing

To realize this transformation, a Nissan GT-R is used as a base, completely striped, before installing the smallest size cockpit possible, surrounded with many protection bars. It’s weight has been reduced by 78 kilos.

The Japanese greatly appreciate this car and have affectionately named it “Godzilla”. Under the Stillen influence, it’s power will be boosted to 620 HP, compared to 485 HP on the model off the line.

According to the data from Stillen, this GT-R is capable of an acceleration of 0-60 m/h in only 2.9 seconds
