Podcast: Japan Mobility Show, 2025 Subaru Forester, 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe and more!
On this 20th episode of The Car Guide Podcast, LP and Gab cover various premieres that took place at the Japan Mobility Show (formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show, as well as the Los Angeles Auto Show. Various sports car concepts were shown in Tokyo, giving showgoers a glimpse at what the future of "fun-to-drive" Japanese cars could look and feel like in the near future.
In Los Angeles, the 2025 Subaru Forester and the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe debuted along with the Lucid Gravity SUV. During this segment of the podcast episode, LP and Gab go over the various specifications and features of these revamped models that are quite popular in our part of the world. For now, Gab describes his experience at the wheel of the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, which was nothing short of a revelation. This new addition to the Hyundai family can realistically recreate the feeling of dynamic driving from an ICE car, which is what every car manufacturer is trying to recreate at the moment.
Finally, LP tells us all about his experience at the wheel of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid and Turbo E-Hybrid. These big and heavy electrified Porsche SUVs are calibrated for maximum power, but they are also geared with complex chassis technologies to keep their four wheels on the ground during spirited drives.
