2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV Pricing, Availability Announced for Canada
Tired of waiting for the all-new 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV to arrive? The company has now released pricing and timing details for Canada.
The compact electric crossover is built at the Ramos Arizpe assembly plant in Mexico alongside the larger Chevrolet Blazer EV, not to mention the Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX that both use a GM architecture.

Customers will be able to place an order starting February 22 with their local Chevrolet EV dealership for the following models:
- 2LT FWD starting at $48,199 (all-in price of $51,498)
- 2RS FWD starting at $49,999 (all-in price of $53,298)
- 3LT FWD starting at $50,899 (all-in price of $54,198)
- 3RS FWD starting at $52,399 (all-in price of $55,698)
As you can see, freight, PDI and other fees amount to $3,299, which is a pretty significant amount of money. The prices do not include the federal EV rebate of $5,000 (including tax), however, or provincial incentives of up to $7,000 where applicable. Chevrolet says the first deliveries are planned for spring, more specifically in May or June.
Unlike the Blazer EV, the Equinox EV will have an entry-level 1LT FWD model, but that one will be available for ordering later in the year and we don’t know how much it will cost yet.
Let’s go back to the 2LT FWD, which is not only the most affordable Equinox EV for now but also the longest-range model in the lineup with 513 km according to Natural Resources Canada, eclipsing the vast majority of competitors. As for the AWD-equipped Equinox EV, ordering will also begin later in 2024 and prices remain to be determined, but expect a range of 459 km.
By the way, Chevrolet claims the battery can regain 112 km of range in 10 minutes when plugged into a 150kW DC fast charger.
