2025 Polestar 4 Makes North American Debut, Pricing Announced
The all-new 2025 Polestar 4 premiered in North America today alongside the 2024 Polestar 3 SUV at the New York Auto Show, displaying its windowless rear end and announcing Canadian prices at the same time.

As promised, the sleek new coupe-style crossover slots between the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 in terms of size and price. The lineup starts with the single-motor RWD variant at $64,900 (plus $2,700 destination), which is unfortunately a bit too expensive to qualify for the $5,000 rebate from the Canadian government’s iZEV program. In Quebec, an incentive of up to $7,000 applies.
Standard content includes a panoramic glass roof, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree parking camera with 3D view, energy-saving heat pump, e-latch doors, power-operated tailgate with soft close, Polestar digital key, wireless phone charging and 8-way power driver’s seat. Since there’s no window in the back, the digital rear-view mirror displays a high-definition image from a roof-mounted, rear-facing camera.
Adding the Pilot Pack or Pro Pack increases the price to $66,800 and $67,400, respectively. The former features Pilot Assist and Lane Change Assist, while the latter replaces the standard 20-inch wheels with unique 21-inch alloys, among other things.
There’s also a Plus Pack that provides customers with a graphical head-up display, automatically dimmed exterior mirrors, 12-way electrical seats with manual leg extension, electronic reclinable rear seats, MicroTech upholstery, 3-zone climate control, rear control and entertainment screen, heated steering wheel and rear seats, 11kW AC charging and Harman Kardon premium audio. It bumps the price up to $71,900.
Now, when it comes to the dual-motor, AWD-equipped Polestar 4, pricing starts at $74,900. This one comes standard with the Pilot Pack. Prepare to spend at least $77,400 with the Pro Pack or $81,700 with the Plus Pack.
The last option on the menu is a Performance Pack, representing a total of $87,500. It adds 22-inch Performance forged wheels wrapped in summer performance tires, Brembo brake calipers in Swedish gold with Polestar engineered brake discs, Polestar engineered performance chassis tuning and Swedish gold seat belts.
All Polestar 4 models rely on a massive 102kWh battery with a maximum DC fast charging rate of 200 kW. With a single motor, the 272 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque enable 0-100 km/h acceleration in 6.9 seconds. Range is estimated at 483 km. The addition of a second motor boosts output to 544 horsepower along with 506 lb-ft of torque, resulting in 0-100 km/h sprints in just 3.7 seconds—the quickest of any production Polestar to date. However, range drops to about 435 km.
The 2025 Polestar 4 will be available to order beginning in late April, with Chinese-built units to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024. Starting in 2025, Polestar 4 vehicles for the North American market will be manufactured in South Korea.
