10-Unit Lamborghini Huracán STJ Marks End of Naturally Aspirated V10
Lamborghini has regularly introduced new versions and editions of the Huracán over the past decade, more recently the STO, Tecnica and Sterrato. Here’s the final one, called STJ and limited to just 10 units, which marks the end of the Italian supercar equipped with a naturally aspirated V10 engine.
A successor featuring a new hybrid powertrain and possibly using the name Temerario will debut later in 2024.

Based on the Huracán STO, the new STJ model represents the pinnacle of performance. By the way, the letters stand for “Super Trofeo Jota,” a nod to the Lamborghini one-make championship established in 2009, as well as Appendix J of the FIA Regulations that sets the racing car specifications. Of course, it also continues a long tradition of Lamborghini models developed for the track, from the Miura SVJ to the Aventador SVJ.
The custom aerodynamic package was developed by Lamborghini’s racing technicians and includes two all-new carbon fibre appendages (flicks). Furthermore, the angle of the rear wing has been increased by 3 degrees compared with the production model to ensure a 10-percent increase in downforce.
Similar to the STO, the Huracán STJ delivers a maximum output of 631 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 417 lb-ft of torque also at 8,000 rpm. A 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox sends all of that to the rear wheels.
When it comes to handling, four racing-derived shock absorbers replace the standard active components. These shocks are four-way adjustable to optimize the rebound and compression at both high and low frequencies. According to the company, their unique characteristics allow lower spring stiffness to be used while maintaining optimal dynamic control of the car and increasing steering precision. Additionally, special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires with a high-grip compound have been developed and installed on 20-inch single-nut rims.
The sporty character and exclusivity of the car are further reflected in the design, with two eye-catching configuration and livery options designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile. The first combines Grigio Telesto (grey) bodywork combined with a Nero Noctis (black) roof and Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white) details, while the cabin is characterized by Nero Cosmus (black) Alcantara seats with leather details and contrasting Rosso Alala (red) stitching. The second configuration, which is pictured here, essentially replaces the grey body paint with a Blu Eliadi (blue) finish.
As you can imagine, every unit gets a numbered carbon fibre plate marked “1 of 10.” It's safe to assume all of them are already spoken for.
