2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS Packs 493 Horsepower, Turbo GT Tech
Following a major update to the third generation for the 2024 model year, the Porsche Cayenne lineup expands a year later with the return of the sporty Cayenne GTS.
We have to start with the engine, of course. The twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 has undergone an extensive technical revision, increasing output to 493 horsepower (+40) and peak torque to 486 lb-ft (+29). In addition, the eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission is revised, too, with shorter response and shift times in Sport and Sport Plus modes.

As a result, the new 2025 Cayenne GTS accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 275 km/h on a track, where the independent water-cooling circuit of the transfer box for the all-wheel drive system is particularly helpful in stabilizing the continuous load capacity.
Gifts From the Cayenne Turbo GT
That is one innovation borrowed from the high-performance Cayenne Turbo GT at the top of the range, but it’s not the only one. The front axle pivot bearings also originate from the Turbo GT model, increasing the negative camber of the wheels by 0.58 degrees in comparison to other Cayennes and allowing even greater agility in corners.
The GTS-specific chassis, always with a 10mm lower ride height, is now equipped with adaptive air suspension as standard, including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). All chassis components and control systems, such as Porsche Traction Management (PTM) and the optional Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), are specifically designed for optimal on-road performance.
Updated Looks and Cabin
The 2025 Cayenne GTS is recognizable thanks to black ‘GTS’ lettering on the sides and rear, a special front end with bigger cooling air intakes, dark-tinted headlights and taillights plus red brake calipers. Furthermore, body attachments such as the side skirts, front inlays, side window trims and wheel arch extensions are now finished in High-Gloss Black. Previously, some of these parts were body-coloured.
Other exterior highlights include 21-inch RS Spyder-design wheels in anthracite grey, while the tailpipes for the sport exhaust system adopt a new dark bronze finish instead of black.
The cabin features a heated GT sports steering wheel as standard. A high-quality, suede-like fabric called Race-Tex covers the roof lining, armrests, door panels and middle section of the eight-way-adjustable sport seats. The side bolsters have been further raised to offer even more lateral support when cornering, which is great. Two alternative, GTS-specific interior packages in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo are also available for a more customized look.
The 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS will be priced from $134,800 in SUV configuration and $139,800 in Coupe configuration. Don’t forget the federal luxury tax. Deliveries are scheduled to start in the fall.
