Tesla Drops New Model 3 Prices by $3,000 in Canada
Tesla didn’t waste too much time adjusting the prices of the refreshed and improved 2024 Model 3. Customers will rejoice, except obviously those who ordered one in the past couple of months.
You see, the single-motor Model 3 RWD now carries a base MSRP of $50,990 instead of $53,990, making it significantly cheaper than a Hyundai IONIQ 6. A similar price cut of $3,000 was applied to the dual-motor Model 3 Long Range, dropping it to $60,990.

As for the new Model 3 Performance that was announced last week, its MSRP remains unchanged at $69,990. For how long? With Tesla, you never know.
Unlike the two others, this sportier model is too expensive to qualify for the federal iZEV rebate of $5,000. Ironically, the identically priced Model Y Performance does qualify since the program’s maximum MSRP for SUVs is set at $70,000.

According to Tesla Canada’s online configurator, customers who order a Model 3 RWD or Long Range today can expect to take delivery of their car by the end of May. When it comes to the Model 3 Performance, they’ll have to wait until July at the earliest.
