Alfa Romeo Simplifies 2025 Model Lineup, Adds Yet Another Special Edition

Published on September 25, 2024 in News by Guillaume Rivard

The new Tonale crossover, available in both gas and plug-in hybrid configurations, has quickly become Alfa Romeo’s best-selling product and in the process helped offset the continuous decline of the Giulia and Stelvio. In fact, if it were not for the Tonale, we’d seriously be wondering how the Italian brand is still alive in Canada.

Anyway, Alfa Romeo is not yet ready to pack up and leave. For 2025, the three vehicles in the lineup come in a single trim level replacing the Sprint, Ti and Veloce for simplified ordering.

That being said, several options and packages can still be specified, one of which just happens to be called Veloce. It includes, among other things, red-painted brake callipers, sport seats with power bolsters, a limited-slip differential (Giulia and Stelvio) and a dual-mode suspension (Tonale). Another package offering a series of driver assistance features is also available.

A new Verde Fangio body colour, previously exclusive to the Tonale, is optional with the sedan and the larger SUV.

What’s more, in typical Alfa Romeo fashion, a limited-production Tributo Italiano special edition accompanies all three models for 2025. The number of units for Canada has not been announced, however.

Goodies include dark aluminum wheels (ranging from 19-21 inches in size), red calipers, a sport rear diffuser and Tributo mirror caps, along with many premium touches such as a Harman Kardon audio system. An upgraded suspension is also part of the mix as standard, just like a safety package that would otherwise be optional.

Pricing for the 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia, Stelvio and Tonale will be announced closer to launch in Canada late this year.
