2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV Adds Max Range Battery Good for 792 km
It doesn’t seem to matter that the Chevrolet Silverado EV offers the longest range of any electric pickup currently on sale. For the 2025 model year, a new configuration will allow drivers to travel even longer distances with a full charge—up to a GM-estimated 792 km to be exact.
"Truck customers tell us range is one of the main barriers to considering an EV. The 2024 Silverado EV was already the range leader, and for this new model year, we’ve set the bar even higher," Chevrolet Canada Director James Hodge said.

For 2025, Chevrolet is also adding a mid-grade LT model between the base WT (Work Truck) and top-line RST. This one offers a range of up to 657 km and boasts DC fast charging capability up to 300 kW. It generates 645 horsepower and 765 lb-ft of torque in WoW (Wide Open Watts) mode, good enough to haul up to 1,800 lbs and tow up to 12,500 lbs.
Available in six exterior colours including trim-exclusive Blue Smoke Metallic, the Silverado EV LT features a unique lower front fascia and illuminated gold bowtie, standard 18-inch aluminum wheels, a Multi-Flex tailgate and a 17.7-inch centre infotainment screen. A Premium Package adds the Multi-Flex midgate (extending the cargo bed up to 10 feet and 10 inches), Super Cruise hands-free driving capability (3-year trial) and 22-inch machined-face aluminum wheels. The latter reduce maximum range to 628 km, mind you.
