2025 Chrysler Grand Caravan Gets Big Price Cut, More Content
The Grand Caravan is no longer the great deal it was back in its Dodge days. Now a lot more expensive and limited to a single trim level (SXT), Chrysler’s entry-level minivan attracts far fewer families in Canada. To be fair, though, sales are up 85 percent through three quarters of 2024 following a very disappointing 2023.
There’s good news for the 2025 model year: the company has slashed the MSRP from $51,020 to $47,700 (or $49,995 including freight and PDI) and updated the list of standard features. Orders are now open, with the first deliveries to customers to follow later in the fall.

The 2025 Grand Caravan gains a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5 infotainment, the ability to connect two phones simultaneously with Bluetooth, Amazon Alexa voice controls and more. Also included is a 7-inch digital cluster, black leatherette seats with driver seat memory, adaptive cruise control, three-zone auto HVAC controls, plus a 10-year Safety & Security trial (Automatic SOS, SOS Call & Assist Call, Theft Alarm Alert, Stolen Vehicle Assistance).
The only three exterior colours you can choose from are Red Hot, Bright White and Diamond Black. The Grand Caravan continues to ride on 17-inch alloy wheels and make use of a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 delivering 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque.
Those looking for a more premium and more advanced minivan can always turn to the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica starting at $54,995 ($52,700 plus freight and PDI). Alternatively, the 2025 Toyota Sienna can be purchased for roughly the same price ($50,601) as the Grand Caravan, but its highly efficient hybrid powertrain (6.7 L/100 km combined) results in huge savings at the pump.
