V8-Powered 2025 Ford Mustang Models Hit With Price Hikes
The Ford Mustang Mach-E electric crossover may currently outsell the pony car it’s inspired from, but that’s largely due to much lower interest rates and discounted prices. The real Mustang is a more iconic product and customers are willing to spend more money on it.
Sure, Ford keeps offering affordable entry-level models with four cylinders only, which is a smart move no matter what Mustang purists say, but on the other hand the company won’t hesitate to jack prices on V8-powered models. And that’s the case for 2025.

While the Mustang EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium cost the same as they did for 2024, the first year of the seventh generation, every other Mustang is now a few grand more expensive. Here’s the full 2025 lineup (prices included freight, PDI and other fees):

Incidentally, only minor revisions to equipment and body colour selection have been made for 2025. For example, the Mustang GT now rides on wider tires with a lower profile (255/45VR18 instead of 235/50R18).
Let’s not forget the 60th Anniversary Package, which is limited to 1,965 units combined. Available exclusively on the Mustang GT Premium (coupe and convertible) in classic Wimbledon White, modern Race Red or Vapor Blue, it features a unique front grille with silver-accented nostrils, side graphics that are reminiscent of the original rocker panel stripes, 20-inch Dark Gravity Gray wheels with bright machined details featuring a Vermillion Red centre cap inspired by those on the 1965 Mustang, plus exclusive 60th Anniversary badges on the fenders and trunk lid. The package costs an extra $5,995.
As for the 815-horsepower 2025 Mustang GTD, hailed as the fastest and most extreme production Mustang ever built, Ford has only accepted a very small number of orders, with pricing believed to be somewhere around $400,000 CAD. The first deliveries were planned for late 2024 or early 2025.
