Lucid Gravity Becomes First Non-Tesla EV to Be Sold With NACS Charge Port
After delivering the first production vehicles to U.S. customers last month, the Lucid Gravity became the first non-Tesla electric vehicle to be sold with an NACS charge port. From January 31, it will gain access to the Tesla Supercharger network with no adapter necessary.
The young company based in Newark, California made the announcement on Tuesday.

Thanks to Lucid’s innovative powertrain technology and its 926V electric architecture, the Gravity can charge at up to 225 kW on DC 500V ultra-fast chargers, such as third-gen (V3) Superchargers, and up to 400 kW on 1,000V charging equipment.
In ideal conditions and at peak charging rates, Lucid claims the Gravity can add approximately 320 km of range in less than 12 minutes. Maximum range exceeds 720 km in five-seat configuration with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels.
What’s more, the Lucid Gravity is capable of bi-directional charging, supporting up to 80 A at 19.2 kW with the NACS charge port. RangeXchange, first available on the Lucid Air sedan, also enables charging another electric vehicle directly via the NACS connector with an optional RangeXchange cable.
One more thing: CCS1 to NACS and SAE J1772 to NACS adapters are included with the Gravity.
Earlier this month during the Gravity’s Canadian debut at the 2025 Montreal Auto Show, Lucid announced that the base Touring model starts at $113,500, while the Grand Touring model retails for $134,500. Prices include destination but not the federal luxury tax and sales tax. Orders for the more expensive Gravity will begin shortly. As for the other, customers will have to wait until late 2025.
Access to the Tesla Supercharger network for Lucid Air customers is planned for this spring. More information will be shared at a later date.
