Honda Has Good News for Used Car Buyers in Canada
Honda Canada is expanding its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program by introducing "Approved Pre-Owned," a new offering that includes vehicles up to 10 years old and is mainly designed for budget-conscious and first-time buyers.
This applies to used vehicles from luxury brand Acura, as well.

Approved Pre-Owned cars, SUVs and pickups undergo a comprehensive multipoint inspection by Honda/Acura-trained technicians and are reconditioned to OEM standards using approved OEM parts.
Other benefits include a 180 days/12,000 km powertrain warranty from point of sale (instead of 7 years/160,000 km from in-service date), CARFAX Canada Vehicle History Report, 7-day/1,000 km exchange policy, plus exclusive finance rates.
Furthermore, while Certified Pre-Owned Honda and Acura vehicles can be no more than 5 years old and have no more than 150,000 km, any mileage is allowed on Approved Pre-Owned models 6-10 years.
"Honda and Acura vehicles that are 6 to 10 years old, or even higher-mileage younger models, are nowhere near retirement. In many cases, the car, truck or SUV were original owner vehicles that were well-loved and maintained, so our Approved Pre-Owned program offers an added measure of assurance through the eyes of our experts," said Mandeep Atwal, head of used vehicle operations at Honda Canada.
