Darker-Looking Toyota Camry Nightshade Returns for 2026

Published on May 1, 2025 in News by Guillaume Rivard

Completely redesigned for 2025, the Toyota Camry is set to bring back the Nightshade Edition that used to be available with its predecessor, looking to attract customers after a darker-looking package.

Available in White, Supersonic Red or Midnight Black Metallic, the 2026 Camry Nightshade Edition is accented with several Midnight Black Metallic parts including the front grille, air curtains, side canards, door handles, mirror caps, shark fin antenna, rear lower diffuser and rear spoiler.

It also comes with unique 19-inch wheels and gloss black badging.

Similar to SE Upgrade, XSE and XLE models, this Camry benefits from all-wheel drive and 232 horsepower (compared with 225 horsepower for the base SE FWD model). As such, look for combined fuel consumption slightly above 5 L/100 km.

Furthermore, similar to the Camry SE and XSE, the Nightshade Edition gets a specific sport-tuned suspension with shock absorbers in the front and rear including a larger-diametre front stabilizer bar.

Inside the black interior, the seats are trimmed in SofTex synthetic leather and feature white inserts. Don’t miss the standard aluminum sport pedals or the leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

What Else is New For 2026?

Another addition to the 2026 Toyota Camry lineup is a “sultry, hazy blue” body colour called Dark Cosmos, which is available exclusively on the XLE model in Canada. Meanwhile, the XSE models offers memory seats and memory mirrors, as well as rain-sensing wipers.
