Ford Celebrates Bronco’s 60 Years With Anniversary Package
The original Ford Bronco, which debuted on August 11, 1965 as a 1966 model, celebrates its 60th anniversary—and you know what that means. Just like it did with the Mustang last year, the automaker is launching a 60th Anniversary Package with the 2026 Bronco.
Based on the Outer Banks model with either a standard 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine or optional 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6, then fitted with the Sasquatch package for superior off-road capability, the vehicle gets 35-inch Goodyear rugged terrain tires matched with unique new 17-inch Gravity Gray alloy wheels. The design of the latter, complete with a contrasting Vermilion Red centre cap with a Bucking Bronco logo in the middle and “1966,” harkens back to the original hubcaps on the 1966 Bronco.

A new grille also draws inspiration from the original design but pairs it with Warm Alloy paint and modern Vermilion Red “BRONCO” lettering. By the way, two body colours are available: Ford’s signature Wimbledon White as well as Ruby Red with a Wimbledon White roof. A special badge that says “Bronco Est. 1966” can be found on the front fenders.
That’s not all. The 60th Anniversary Package comes with standard wheelbase-length running boards and new A-pillar-mounted grab handles (available on all 2026 Bronco models). And at the rear, a new hard-centre spare tire cover finished in Wimbledon White and featuring a Vermilion Red “BRONCO” wordmark is flanked by a matte black Ford badge on the tailgate.
Inside this commemorative Bronco, look for premium two-tone leather seats sporting embossed 60th Anniversary logos on the seatbacks. Alpine marine-grade vinyl arm rests add to the experience, and Alpine stitching on the leather-topped dashboard pairs with red accents on the instrument panel and grab handles.
The 2026 Ford Bronco and 60th Anniversary Package will be available to order in October. Pricing will be announced then. The company has not specified how many units it will build, but we expect it to be limited to 1,966.
