Jeep Teases Recon Arrival, Updates Grand Wagoneer
Jeep has announced several upcoming changes to its vehicle lineup, including an update to its Grand Wagoneer and the upcoming arrival of the Recon electric utility vehicle.
In a short video clip, the manufacturer unveiled the visually refreshed Grand Wagoneer, which will also get mechanical, and technological updates. Aesthetically, it features a front end similar to the electric-powered Wagoneer S, with a seven-slot illuminated grille. The horizontal T-shaped fog lights are also similar to the ones you’ll find on the Wagoneer S.

Power has been increased under the hood, but we’ll have to wait a little longer to see how many horses have joined the pack. Furthermore, the 392 V8 engine should make a comeback under the hoods of several of the brand's vehicles, and Jeep promises to add more powertrain choices as well.

The brand plans to reveal four vehicles in four months, including the long-awaited 100% Recon SUV, which is expected to arrive in November. The 2026 Cherokee and 2026 Grand Cherokee will also be unveiled in the coming weeks and months.

Currently, the Stellantis group is experiencing a slowdown in sales that is affecting most of its brands. Jeep is no exception, with a 21% drop in sales in the first six months compared to last year.
