Porsche Macan Electric Lineup Expands With Racy GTS Model
It wasn’t long ago that we wrote about the series of improvements made to the Porsche Macan Electric for 2026, but up until now the company had failed to mention the addition of a GTS model. Well, here it is.
Slotting just below the top-line Turbo, this new Macan Electric features the most powerful rear-mounted motor in the lineup. It takes just 3.8 seconds to sprint from 0-100 km/h (and 13.3 seconds to reach 200 km/h, if you're driving on a track) thanks to a total of 509 horsepower—or 563 horsepower with Launch Control—and 704 lb-ft of peak torque, which required a special calibration of the single-speed transmission.

The maximum charging power at a DC fast charging station remains the same at 270 kW, allowing the 100kWh battery to charge from 10-80 percent in just 21 minutes under ideal conditions. The official range has yet to be announced, however. It should be around 463 km.
Porsche has developed two exclusive sound profiles for the Macan GTS Electric, each with a distinct character in the ‘Sport’ and ‘Sport Plus’ modes. Speaking of which, a new track mode increases the level of battery cooling, minimizing power loss caused by heat build-up and significantly improving performance under sustained load, the automaker claims.

Sharper Handling and Racier Looks
Similar to 4, 4S and Turbo models, the new Macan GTS Electric benefits from an all-wheel drive system with electronic Porsche Traction Management (ePTM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). The electronically controlled differential lock enhances traction and agility, just like optional rear-axle steering, while the centre of gravity is the lowest in the lineup. Obviously, engineers have refined the sports air suspension, which features Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the 10mm lower ride height typical of GTS models.
With regard to styling, the usual black accents can be found all around, the redesigned side skirts widen towards the rear, and the tinted Matrix LED headlights are particularly striking. Three new body colours are available: the popular Crayon returns, joined by the GTS-specific Carmine Red and, for the first time on a Macan, Lugano Blue.

Don't miss the 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels that can replace the 21-inch units. From early 2026, Porsche will offer a new Sport Design Package for all Macan models, including new front and rear aprons. The Macan GTS will be the first to receive it.
Finally, when opening the doors, you’ll see “GTS” lettering combined with Race-Tex fabric on the GT Sports steering wheel, the armrests of the centre console and door panels, as well as the dashboard. The middle section of the 18-way adjustable sports seats is also upholstered in Race-Tex, while the seat bolsters and headrests are finished in smooth leather.

The 2026 Porsche Macan GTS Electric is available to order now, starting at $122,100 plus fees and luxury tax, but the first units won't arrive in Canada until next summer.
