2026 Honda Pilot Gets New Front Fascia, Larger Screens and More
The current-generation Honda Pilot is three years old, so it's time for some changes and enhancements. Don't look for anything major, with one exception.
On the outside, designers have revised the front fascia: the grille is larger and adopts a new look. The redesigned lower bumper and the large new scuff plate in a contrasting finish amplify the rugged appearance—taking some elegance away in the process, you might say.

The more adventurous TrailSport model shown here is the only one with a dark grey grille, a unique scuff plate on the rear bumper and "PILOT" lettering in new orange finish on the liftgate.

Roof rails are included on all 2026 Pilot models, and new 20-inch wheels adorn the higher trim levels. Two new body colours have been added to the palette: Solar Silver Metallic and Ash Green Metallic. The latter, exclusive to Honda’s TrailSport models, replaces Diffused Sky Blue Pearl.
Time for the Big Screen
Inside, the new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google built-in is the standout feature, as the Pilot previously only offered a 7- or 9-inch screen depending on the trim level. The 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster is also now standard across the entire range. The same goes for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Thanks to new semi-tempered door glass, door insulators, a new hood insulator and other sound-absorbing technologies, Honda claims it has reduced cabin noise levels by 2-3 decibels. The Pilot TrailSport gains a 360-degree camera system, while the Touring model receives Ultra-Suede seat accents with diamond stitching.
Same Engine, Improved Steering
Nothing has changed under the hood, unsurprisingly. The Pilot’s 3.5-litre V6 continues to deliver 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque through a 10-speed automatic transmission. However, steering has been retuned to offer increased steering feel and precision across all drive modes, plus increased on-centre weight for more stable and relaxed highway cruising.
The 2026 Honda Pilot is expected to arrive in dealerships starting in December, and Canadian pricing will be announced before then. As a reminder, the outgoing 2025 model ranges from $56,473-$68,223 including freight, PDI and other fees.
