Sleek 2026 Genesis G70 Graphite is Coming to North America Only
The Genesis G70 needs a boost. With the compact luxury sedan nearing the end of its cycle, sales were down 25 percent in Canada after the first nine months of 2025. Can a new model exclusive to the North American market be the solution?
That’s what we’ll find out following today’s introduction of the sleek 2026 G70 Graphite at the Los Angeles Auto Show, a car that promises to bring a further sport-oriented option to the lineup.

It starts with a matte-finish Makalu Grey body colour and dark chrome detailing throughout the grille, window surrounds and rear garnish. The look is completed with black mirror caps and dark-finish 19-inch wheels that come to a stop thanks to black-painted Brembo brake calipers.

Inside, the G70 Graphite stands out with exclusive Nappa leather upholstery in dark Ultramarine Blue paired with orange contrast elements. The result is a sporty yet super-classy look.
Above the driver’s head is a microfiber suede headliner, while just in front is a 12.3-inch 3D-style instrument cluster that’s highly configurable. The latter comes alive with unique graphics when the engine is fired up.

Speaking of which, you can’t have the turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, as the G70 Graphite relies exclusively on the company’s twin-turbocharged 3.3-litre V6, which generates 368 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque—good for 0-100 km/h sprints in 5.3 seconds according to our tests.
All-wheel drive is also part of the package, and the suspension includes electronically controlled sport dampers that lower the ride height by 10 mm to increase stability and handling.

Further details about the 2026 Genesis G70 Graphite for the Canadian market, including pricing, will be announced soon. By the way, a second generation of the Korean sedan has not yet been confirmed at the time of writing.
