2026 Jeep Gladiator Willys ’41 Pays Tribute to Military Past
In an effort to pay tribute once again to its military past and more specifically to the 1941 Willys MB, Jeep today announced the launch of the Gladiator Willys ’41 for the 2026 model year. This pickup follows the lead of the Wrangler Willys ’41 4xe that was introduced at the same time last year.
By the way, did you know that Willys-Overland produced almost 360,000 Jeep vehicles at the Toledo, Ohio plant between October 1941 and August 1945? The company trademarked the Jeep name and, even before WWII was over, began building the brand's first civilian model, the CJ-2A.

Speaking about this new Gladiator, Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said “The Willys ‘41 brings military-inspired design and proven Jeep capability together in a way that’s both timeless and trail-ready.”

To be clear, customers already had the opportunity to order the Gladiator in that military-style '41 body colour, but the special edition announced today goes a few steps further with exclusive 17-inch Olive Drab painted wheels, a Mojave hood with "Willys / 4x4" lettering accompanied by an American flag, steel bumpers, a Mopar triple-hoop grille guard as well as mud-terrain tires.
Inside, you’ll find Willys ‘41 tan seat inserts and a Mantis Green cloth-wrapped mid-bolster.

The engine, of course, is the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6, which produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The addition of a 4xe plug-in hybrid system is an idea that was recently cancelled. By combining a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a 17kWh battery, it would have offered 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque along with an electric-only range of approximately 35 km.
Orders for the 2026 Jeep Gladiator Willys '41 have begun, with a price set at $62,995 including fees. This represents a premium of approximately $5,700 over the regular Willys model. As a reminder, Jeep has significantly reduced prices for 2026.
