Lucid Releases More Details on Lower-Priced Gravity Touring
On its home turf of California, more specifically on the eve of the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, EV maker Lucid today shared more details about the base trim level of the new Gravity SUV—the one that starts at $113,500 in Canada.
The Gravity Touring is based on the same platform as the Grand Touring model and similarly offers five- and seven-passenger configurations. The major difference lies in the powertrain. Battery size is reduced from 123 kWh to 89 kWh, giving it a range of 542 km in five-passenger configuration when equipped with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels.

For DC fast charging, the entry-level Gravity relies on its native NACS charging port, which can handle up to 300 kW (at 1,000V chargers) and up to 220 kW at Tesla Superchargers.
All models come standard with an air suspension and are available with the Dynamic Handling package, which provides a sportier driving experience. Furthermore, maximum output increases to 560 hp in Sprint mode, allowing the Gravity to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Smooth mode, which functions like Normal and Eco modes, delivers approximately two-thirds of that power.
Customers can choose from six exterior colours and wheel designs ranging from 20-23 inches. The standard Stealth Appearance features dark polished finishes, while the optional Platinum Appearance adds bright silver accents.
The spacious Gravity interior boasts a ton of technology, starting with a 34-inch curved 6K OLED high-definition screen. All system updates are performed over the air. DreamDrive 2 Pro, Lucid’s most advanced driver assistance system with as many as 32 on-board sensors, is available as an option.
When it comes to cargo, you’ll find up to 3,400 litres of room in five-passenger models, while maximum towing capacity is rated at 3,500 lbs (versus 6,000 lbs for the Grand Touring).
