Chrysler Planning Two Crossovers, One Sedan, SRT Models
Chrysler, which currently only sells the Pacifica and Grand Caravan minivans, has been practically left for dead in recent years. However, with the arrival of Stellantis' new boss, Antonio Filosa, the future looks brighter.
Brand CEO Christine Feuell recently sought to set the record straight. Speaking to Mopar Insiders, she denied all rumours that Chrysler was for sale or on the verge of disappearing, asserting that Filosa believes in its chances of bouncing back. Furthermore, investments in the North American market will increase.

The first major change in Chrysler's strategy, as we already know, is to abandon the goal of having a fully electric lineup by 2028. Instead, multiple powertrain and energy options will be available, based on Stellantis' STLA platforms.

Next, the Pacifica will be largely redesigned in 2026 (for the 2027 model year), but from what we hear it doesn’t sound like it’s going to be a new generation (the current one dates back to 2017). An electric Pacifica is expected to debut shortly after, as Feuell indicated in November 2024.
As for new products, a midsize crossover, currently known under the codename C6X, is in Chrysler's plans. The same goes for a smaller model as well as a sedan that could revive the 300 nameplate and draw inspiration from the highly futuristic Halcyon concept unveiled in February 2024.

That's not all: Chrysler is also planning to bring back higher-performance models under the SRT badge, which Stellantis is in the process of reviving. What form will they take? That remains to be seen. However, we can expect the turbocharged six-cylinder Hurricane engines and the HEMI V8 engines to be included.
“I am so excited to bring back SRT,” Feuell said. “I can tell you after meeting with my counterparts Tim Kuniskis and Matt McAlear we got a really awesome plan for SRT. It’s a great opportunity for us to bring back the performance brands and products that have been so iconic in the past as we look to the future.”

Now, what about lower-price vehicles? The Chrysler CEO insists that affordability is one of the things that is very important for the company to prioritize.
“We are working on a small car or whether you call it a compact car, but something that can transact under $30,000, something that will be beautiful and fun to drive and aspirational, because you want people to feel proud… that it’s wearing a Chrysler badge,” she also told Mopar Insiders.
In other words, 2026 will be the year to watch for further announcements and perhaps some unveilings from Chrysler. We’ll keep you posted.
