Jerry Seinfeld and the Porsche Carrera GT need no further introduction. The former bought a brand new copy of the latter back in 2005 and drove it for around 5,000 km before he decided to get rid of it in 2011. The car, which now resides somewhere in San Diego, California, was recently put up for sale on Bring a Trailer.

Considering that Porsche only built 1,270 Carrera GTs and that this particular one used to belong to the legendary comedian (a copy of the New York title in Jerry Seinfeld’s name is included in the sale), it’s no surprise bidding currently tops $1.6 million USD ($2 million CAD). We expect the car to sell for much more than that on March 11, even though it has had a couple more owners after Seinfeld.
