While the three-way battle between the Volkswagen Golf R, Honda Civic Type R and Toyota GR Corolla captivates many performance enthusiasts, Subaru is taking a back seat with the 271-horsepower WRX. We’ve been told the WRX STI will come back at some point, but for now the automaker is focusing on other projects like electrifying its upcoming models.
