What do you look for when stepping inside a vehicle? How much does space or comfort matter? And do you insist on having the largest displays or the latest tech and gadgets? Well, it’s that time of the year again when U.S. magazine WardsAuto releases its list of the best car interiors and user experiences.
For the first time, not even one passenger car managed to crack the top 10, which consists of SUVs and a pickup exclusively. Also, you’ll find fewer EVs and hybrids than last year.
The magazine’s staff based their decisions on several criteria including design aesthetic, comfort, ergonomics, materials, fit-and-finish and the user-friendliness of displays and controls. Not all vehicles were considered, mind you—only brand new or significantly improved models, with no price limit.
Check out the top 10 right here, presented in alphabetical order.
