Jeep Gladiator, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer
Jeep originally had this plan to electrify its entire vehicle lineup by 2025. The Gladiator will be able to live up to the brand’s promise with a 4xe plug-in hybrid variant launching next year. Similar to the Wrangler 4xe, the upcoming Gladiator 4xe will combine a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and 17kWh battery. Look for the same 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. However, pure electric range will likely be slightly different from the 35 km we have with the Wrangler 4xe.
The full-size Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will also get a 4xe variant in 2025, although their system will be more like the one in the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger full-size pickup.
