Some of them are mostly unknown to the general public, but they’ve been at the forefront of the pack for the past couple of decades.

We’ve compiled a list of the 10 fastest production cars on the planet in terms of top speed, ranked from tenth to first (click on the links to get more info on each model). Of course, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a new No.1 in the near future.
Note: Excluded from the list are cars like the Bugatti Bolide and Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut whose claimed top speed has yet to be validated on a track using certified data-recording equipment.
