Fernando Alonso-Commissioned Aston Martin Valiant Continues V12 Story
What do you do when your star F1 driver wants a lighter, more extreme, race car-inspired version of the magnificent Valour introduced in 2023? Well, you make it happen. That’s what Aston Martin did recently with the help of its in-house bespoke division, Q.
The Fernando Alonso-commissioned, road-legal, track-focused Valiant is motivated by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission—a combo that practically no longer exists these days. Output is rated at 735 horsepower.

While the first deliveries are due to begin this fall, the Valiant will make its public debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 11-14) with dynamic demonstrations on the famous Hill Climb course.
