The TLX is big news at Acura this year as it single-handily replaces both the TSX and TL series. Four-cylinder versions sport a 206-hp direct-injection 2.4L engine paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch automated manual. The V6 version also innovates by teaming up its 290-hp 3.5L engine to a nine-speed automatic. SH-AWD all-wheel traction is optional in V6 versions only. Regular manual transmissions are no longer offered in Acura’s midsize sport sedan.
Pros
- Improved style
- Inspiring interior
- Selection of engines
- Up-to-date transmissions
