The transformation of the DB11 a year ago led to the introduction of the new DB12. Available as a coupe or convertible, the latter known as DB12 Volante, this grand touring sports car from the U.K. continues to rely on a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 supplied by Mercedes-AMG. Output and torque are rated at 671 horsepower and 590 lb-ft, respectively. This is sent to the rear wheels only through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Pros
- Remarkable V8 power
- Expertly distributed weight
- English charm and character
Cons
- Problematic side and rear visibility (coupe)
- No all-wheel drive available
- Central screen too low
