The award-winning electric compact sedan from Germany continues to evolve. For 2026, the rear-wheel-drive models offer slightly longer range. The all-wheel-drive i4 xDrive40 remains unchanged. However, the top-of-the-line M50 xDrive model is renamed M60 xDrive to reflect its increased output (now up to 593 horsepower with the power boost function activated). Handling remains a strength of this BMW, while its practical rear hatch design is another advantage.
