The BMW X6, an X5 with a sportier but less roomy tail end, is available with two engines (but not at the same time). First of all, there's the 300-horsepower, 3.0-litre six-cylinder xDrive35i, followed by the 445-horsepower, 4.4-litre V8 xDrive50i. The latter seems perfectly sufficient, but diehards will only be satisfied with the 567-horsepower, 4.4L V8 found in the X6 M, an SUV that goes toe-to-toe with the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
