Cadillac’s luxury crossover was entirely redesigned in 2010. New features for 2012 include an uber-modern 3.6L direct-injection V6. This puts it in the running with the BMW X5, Lexus RX, Mercedes M-Class and Volvo XC90. Say goodbye to the 2.8L and 3.0L engines from years past. Although it is available with FWD, most buyers prefer it with AWD.
Pros
- New, more powerful V6
- Nice lines
- Comfy front seats
- Quiet ride
Cons
- Heavy vehicle
- Cold interior presentation
- What's the appeal of the FWD?
- Slow transmission
