The midsize sedan segment is nowhere near as popular—or populated—as it once was, but the Chevrolet Malibu soldiers on for 2021. However, the lineup has been simplified with the elimination of the fuel-efficient Malibu Hybrid. Customers are left with two powertrain choices: a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine and a turbocharged 2.0-litre unit. Trim levels include LS, RS, LT and Premier, the last one being the most luxuriously equipped.
