The Durango gets a mid-cycle update this year. The grille and rear taillights are revised, the latter lit up by no less than 192 LED bulbs. A new eight-speed automatic gearbox is added to all versions to improve fuel economy. A rotating knob replaces the traditional gearshift lever. Both engines are back: the 3.6L V6 (290 or 295 horsepower) and the 5.7L HEMI V8 (360 horsepower) with cylinder deactivation. Towing capacity varies from 6800 to 7400 lbs. depending on the drivetrain configuration.
