This throwback to another era soldiers on with a 5.4l V8 with six-speed automatic transmission, the only combination offered. Able to tow 4037 kg it is no secret that fuel economy is not its forte; Ford advertises 16,4 km/100 city. The XLT short version starts at $49 049 and the longer Limited Max at $63 449. The Expedition is clearly at the end of its useful life. Hopefully, the next generation will dip into the excellent F-150 pool of engines and chassis improvements.
