The CR-V’s little brother is more expensive than most other subcompact crossovers and thus proves less popular. A single engine option is available, namely a 2.0-litre four-cylinder that produces no more than 158 horsepower. It is paired with a continuously variable transmission. The base LX model can be specified with FWD or AWD, while the Sport and EX-L are AWD-only models. The HR-V stands out with an ergonomic interior and excellent reliability.
