Jeep is keeping the final edition of the V8-powered Wrangler 392 (470 horsepower) around for one more year. On the other hand, the company has decided to no longer offer the eight-speed automatic transmission with the standard 3.6-litre V6 (285 horsepower), meaning the latter can only be paired with the six-speed manual gearbox going forward. Other powertrain options include a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine (270 horsepower) and a plug-in hybrid system (375 horsepower).
