Disco is not dead. By that we mean the Land Rover Discovery is still alive in the midsize luxury SUV segment despite being overshadowed by the Audi Q7/Q8, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Porsche Cayenne. There are no major changes to report for 2023, apart from a new Metropolitan version. The standard engine remains a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder that produces 296 horsepower. A turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder with 48V mild hybrid technology is also available. This one generates 355 horsepower.
