Every manufacturer has to have one mastodon in its fleet, and for Mercedes, it’s the GL. Fortunately, with its recent makeover, numerous elements have been improved, notably the more fluid, less bulky exterior design. They also went to some lengths to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. There are three engines available: a diesel, a 4.6-litre V8 and a 5.5-litre V8 in the GL550 model.
