It comes standard with a turbocharged 1.5-litre triple-cylinder engine that produces 134 horsepower, while the sportier Cooper S and John Cooper Works feature a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder delivering 189 horsepower and 228 horsepower, respectively. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual as well as seven- and eight-speed automatics.
