The MINI Convertible returns for a fourth generation in 2025. It comes with a soft top that can be fully retracted in 18 seconds. Under the hood, the base model features a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 161 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. The sportier Cooper S model boasts 201 hp and 221 lb-ft instead. Both engines are mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The top-line John Cooper Works model generates 228 horsepower and torque is increased to 280 lb-ft.
