The Mitsubishi i-MiEV was the second « general public » electric car to appear on our market. Only offered as a 5-door hatchback, the little i-MiEV is a four-seat, rear-wheel-drive city car powered by a 66 hp electric motor mounted at the rear. The i-MiEV is a full-electric car, with no auxiliary internal combustion engine. Its 16 kWh battery recharges in 7 hours on 240 volts, while the maximum range under ideal conditions is 155 km.
