Since its arrival in Canada in 2003, the Outlander has been updated (2007), totally redesigned (2010), updated again (2014), and modified ever so slightly this year. These days, it competes with the biggest names in the SUV category. The lineup is complete and includes the possibility of front- or all-wheel drive, a CVT or automatic transmission, and a choice of either a 166-hp four-cylinder or a 3.0L V6 with a better towing capacity.
Pros
- Good warranty
- Two good engines
- Improved finish
- Good sound system
Cons
- Super gasoline (V6)
- Lines are still a bit retro
- Rapid depreciation
- Less flashy than its rivals
