The Outlander is Mitsubishi’s largest SUV, and bigger than most other compact SUVs. For 2026, a new NOIR edition is introduced. More importantly, the gasoline models replace the naturally aspirated 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine featuring mild hybrid technology. Meanwhile, the Outlander PHEV retains the same powertrain (248 combined horsepower), but receives a larger battery for increased electric range.
